Now one of the things that I think is extremely important, is that when you pick those topics to write about, you need to write about topics that people who are purchasers that might be interested in it, you know, if we went with the specific niches then we'd be able to think about what those were. Let's look at deep-sea fishing. Just as an example right off the top of my head. If I were to write an article that talks about how wonderful it is to go deep-sea fishing and alaska fishing my website is a real general website about deep-sea fishing. Probably, I'm not targeting, effectively targeting, people who are ready to spend money. Or to buy something that will produce an income for me. In the area of deep-sea fishing, most of the people are going to like the pretty pictures that I've got in my e-book. They're going to like dreaming about going on this deep-sea fishing trip. However, if I want to specifically target people who are purchasers of deep-sea fishing equipment then I would instead write articles that are specifically geared towards repairing my current deep-sea fishing equipment. Or I might have an article on choosing what is the best deep-sea fishing goggles. Or something like that. The key hear is that the only people that are going to read an article about choosing the best deep-sea fishing goggles is probably someone who's already planning to go deep-sea fishing. They've already decided that they're going to make some type of purchase. And now, they're evaluating that first purchase. |
